A vinyl lover says that he was hit ‘right in the feels’ after receiving an emotional note inside a used LP that he had purchased.

Reddit user Muctur purchased a copy of grunge band Soundgarden’s 1994 album Superunknown – but discovered an amazing note inside the vinyl sleeve.

It was written by the mother of a 39-year-old man who died in 2002 while out running, and told of how the music kept her son’s memory alive.

She wrote: ‘He died in a beautiful place doing what he loved most, running, music.’

The mother, called Sabine, went on to explain how her son was an avid music collector, and she often… Read the full story

Footage appears to show racehorse Fin March, ridden by jockey Kegan Deniel, leading at Nantes Racecourse in France earlier this afternoon after a dramatic surge.

But as the race nears its end, the horse suddenly veers to the left of the course – and bolts over the safety barriers before ploughing into a crowd of spectators.

Deniel was thrown off the animal and is now recovering in Nantes University Hospital after sustaining damage to his knee.

Tragically, the horse did not survive – with French racing website Equidia reporting that it was put down after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
